Project Implementation Anticipated to Begin Mid-May
On April 9, 2026, the Somerville Traffic Commission approved the curb regulation changes included in the project final design for quick-build intersection safety improvements on Broadway at Simpson Avenue and Wallace Street/Leonard Street. Work to implement the new pavement markings is anticipated to begin May 19, 2026 (weather dependent).
