Implementation Update

To support the ongoing efforts to increase safety for everyone using the Community Path, and as an interim measure, the Somerville Police Department will place electronic message boards at various locations along the path to encourage people to share the path and travel at a safe speed.

Installation of permanent signage and pavement markings is expected later this fall.
