Pavement Markings Work Beginning this Week

This Thursday, October 15, or soon after, City contractors will begin implementation of pavement markings at roadway intersections along the Community Path. Weather permitting, this work is expected to be substantially completed this fall.

These new markings include the thermoplastic strips that indicate the approach to the intersection and encourage path users to slow down. To learn more about safety improvements, refer to the Design Strategy Report Summary.

Implementation lookahead

Pending evaluation and monitoring outcomes further improvements may continue through 2027 and 2028.

Construction Impacts

Pavement marking work will take place overnight and any impacts to travel on the path are expected to be brief.
