Growing Season #2

The microforest is entering its second summer of growth and it is looking lush. Species like elderberry and black cherry are thriving. Rabbits damaged some plants in our first year, but many of them have new growth and are trying again.
Swing by (after school hours) to take a look! Take a look for all the buzzing insects, the wide variety of trees, and birds visiting the forest. You'll see 3-4 feet of growth since 80 volunteers planted over 400 trees in October 2023. If you were there, can you spot any of the trees you planted??
