March '26 Project Update

We’re pleased to share that the Morrison Avenue Improvement Project continues to move forward.

The project team is continuing to advance the project design, with the 60% design scheduled for completion later this spring. This represents significant progress in the design of sanitary sewer and stormwater system improvements, water distribution improvements, and utility coordination.

Given the project’s estimated cost and budget, the streetscape improvements associated with this project will be limited to roadway surface and sidewalk restoration. This is necessary to ensure full, timely delivery of essential sewer and stormwater management improvements.

Anticipated Construction

Construction is currently anticipated to begin in Summer 2027, pending final design, permitting, and funding approvals.

What’s Next

Following completion of the 60% design phase, the team will

• Host an upcoming public meeting later this spring to speak with residents about progress.
• Advance the design toward final (100%) completion.
• Prepare contract documents and cost estimates toward the end of the calendar year.
