Construction Fencing and Access to Blessing of the Bay Park
We want to thank those of you who reached out to us over the weekend regarding Friday's construction mobilization. We sincerely apologize for the lack of informational signage when the construction fencing set-up began on Friday, June 12.
To enhance communication and accessibility, our construction team will install clear signage at both ends of the construction site on Wednesday morning. This will inform visitors about the designated entry and exit points between Shore Drive and Blessing of the Bay Park during the construction period.
The approved traffic management plan did not initially include additional entry points along Shore Drive. This decision was made to ensure that breaks in construction do not prolong the overall construction timeline. However, we value your feedback and are committed to exploring options that will allow for more points of access across the construction site during non-work hours. Our goal is to facilitate easier access to the park while balancing the need to keep the project on schedule and keep everyone, including workers and the public, safe during construction.
Your concerns are important to us, and we appreciate your engagement as we work to improve this process. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to enhance our community while ensuring that the project proceeds efficiently.
