We are excited to kick-off construction of Somerville Junction Park! Come hear about the construction, tree removals, and ask questions.

At this meeting, City staff and consultants will discuss the design process to date, continue the define the spaces and materials within the park, and seek public feedback. Construction is expected to begin after the MBTA Green Line and Community Path extensions are completed later this year.

At this second of three community meetings with landscape architects Crowley Cottrell, we will review what was heard at the previous public meeting, discuss future park programming, and consider the question "What will we do in the park?". We look forward to a lively discussion imagining a new design for Junction Park!

At this first of three community meetings, City staff will introduce the design team and the project scope. Landscape Architecture firm Crowley Cottrell will give an overview of their analysis of the existing site, and present several design concepts for feedback. We are excited to imagine a new design for Junction Park!
