Concept Design Feedback Update

Open House at Conway Park, Tuesday, June 9

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on the Somerville Avenue Quick-Build Safety Improvements concept design. Over the last month we have received feedback from over 200 Somerville community members through our open house, surveys, street pop-ups along the project area, emails and business block-walking. The comments will be recorded in a Community Engagement Report that will be available on the website later this summer.

We have concluded scheduled community engagement activities for the concept design phase of the project and will spend the next few months reviewing feedback received from the community. This feedback will inform the final designs for implementation. The project team currently anticipates sharing final designs with the public by the end of 2026 and beginning implementation in summer 2027.
