Final Paving Summer Street and School Street - Week of 6/23
Following a successful first round of final paving on project streets west of School Street, crews are preparing to pave Summer Street (~ School St. to Bow St.) and School Street (Summer St. to Highland Ave.) one day during the week of 6/23. Additional notification will be provided a specific date has been confirmed.
Throughout the next week (6/16) crews will be working to prepare these roadways for paving by raising casting (manhole covers and other in ground structures) to their final height.
This is the final major paving operation of the Spring Hill Sewer Separation Project.
Pavement markings and speed hump installation will follow paving.
Other Ongoing Work Around the Neighborhood
As the project moves toward substantial completion later this month, crews are working on remaining construction items throughout the neighborhood including:
- Adding remaining irrigation and plantings to green stormwater infrastructure (What is Green Stormwater Infrastructure?)
- Installing remaining pavement markings and signage
- And addressing other outstanding items.
